Ever wondered how to [style your wedding rings](https://www.tacori.com/wedding-rings/stack-story/) to get a unique look?

We’re sharing five modern wedding ring pairings we love—from complementary metal colors to unique shapes – all with totally timeless [wedding bands](https://www.tacori.com/wedding-rings/womens-bands/) from TACORI that you’re sure to love.

**Double Up**
1 / 5

Top Ring:
Petite Crescent Wedding Band
[STYLE HT2558](https://www.tacori.com/wedding-ring-petite-crescent-ht2558b12/)

Engagement Ring:
Dantela Cushion Bloom
[STYLE 2691](https://www.tacori.com/engagement-ring-dantela-269122cu95/)

Bottom Ring
Lunetta Crescent Wedding Band
[STYLE 2632](https://www.tacori.com/wedding-ring-lunetta-crescent-272017bet/)

Although a single wedding band is the norm, opting for multiple wedding bands can result in a truly exceptional and personalized stack. Whether you find it difficult to choose just one wedding band or desire to incorporate a cherished family heirloom, combining and layering multiple bands can give your ring stack a distinctive and meaningful appearance. This approach allows you to mix and match various metals, gemstones, and designs to create a unique look that perfectly reflects your personality and love story. So, if you want to break from tradition and create a one-of-a-kind ring stack, consider adding multiple wedding bands to your collection.

**Striking Symmetry**
2 / 5

Wedding Bands:
Simply TACORI Pavé
[STYLE 2670](https://www.tacori.com/wedding-ring-simply-tacori-2670b34/)

Engagement Ring:
Simply TACORI Emerald Solitaire
[STYLE 2670](https://www.tacori.com/engagement-ring-simply-tacori-267015ec7x5/)

Achieve balance and symmetry in your ring stack by layering two identical wedding bands alongside [your engagement ring](https://www.tacori.com/engagement-rings/). This technique, often referred to as twin stacking, not only creates the appearance of a thicker band but also accentuates your engagement ring beautifully. By placing two identical rings on either side of your engagement ring, they create a harmonious and cohesive look.

**Interesting Shapes**
3 / 5

Engagement RIng:
Sculpted Crescent
[STYLE 2687RD75](https://www.tacori.com/engagement-ring-simply-tacori-2687rd75pk/)

Wedding Ring:
Sculpted Crescent Pear Shape
[STYLE 2687](https://www.tacori.com/wedding-ring-simply-tacori-2687b12pk/)

One of our favorite ways to stand out from the crowd with a truly unique ring stack is by banding together rings of interesting [diamond cuts.](https://www.tacori.com/engagement-rings/diamond-cut) Choosing rings that feature [pear](https://www.tacori.com/engagement-rings/diamond-cut/pear-cut/)-, [marquise](https://www.tacori.com/engagement-rings/diamond-cut/marquise-cut)-, and [oval](https://www.tacori.com/engagement-rings/diamond-cut/oval-cut)-shaped diamonds on the foundation are less traditional, especially when turned on their sides for a spin on the classic elongated look.

**Mixed Metals**
4 / 5

Top Band:
Founder's Pavé Diamond Wedding Band
[STYLE HT2581](https://www.tacori.com/wedding-ring-founders-collection-ht2581b12pk/)

Engagement Ring:
Founder's Oval Solitaire Engagement Ring
[STYLE HT2580](https://www.tacori.com/engagement-ring-founders-collection-ht2580ov85x65/)

Bottom Band:
TACORI Couple's Bezel Set Diamond Band
[STYLE 150-35](https://www.tacori.com/wedding-rings-tacori-couple-15035dlg/)

Mixing metals is far from a faux pas, and complementary designs that mix metals are a great option for a creative [engagement](https://www.tacori.com/engagement-rings/)and [wedding ring](https://www.tacori.com/wedding-rings/womens-bands/) pairing. Just make sure to pick different colors of the same material—like rose gold, white gold, and yellow gold—because non-alike metals will scratch when stacked together. The beauty of this approach lies in the versatility, as the combination of various metals effortlessly harmonizes with your other day-to-day jewelry.

**Coordinated Cuts**
5 / 5

Top Band:
Lunetta Crescent French Pavé Diamond Band
[STYLE 2720](https://www.tacori.com/wedding-ring-lunetta-crescent-272017cb12/)

Engagement Ring:
Lunetta Crescent Three Stone
[STYLE 2722](https://www.tacori.com/engagement-ring-lunetta-crescent-272217ov75x55/)

Bottom Band:
Classic Crescent RoyalT Infinity Wedding Band
[STYLE HT2632](https://www.tacori.com/wedding-ring-royalt-ht263265/)

If you have a classic taste but still want something with a sublte twist, consider choosing a unique diamond cut. Once you select the cut of the center stone (like this stunning emerald shape) for your[engagement ring,](https://www.tacori.com/engagement-rings/) use the same one for the diamonds around your [wedding band](https://www.tacori.com/wedding-rings/womens-bands/). This polished look is an elegant and timeless combination.

### Side Note: Does a wedding band go on the top?

In Western cultures, the traditional placement of wedding bands is on the bottom of the ring finger, closer to the heart. This is typically the left hand ring finger, but in some cultures, such as in some European countries, the right hand is used instead. There are no strict rules (and even if there were, rules are meant to be broken ;). A sparkling stack is going to look good no matter where and how you style it. Go with personal preference and what feels comfortable to you.
