So do we! With the full Friends series available on-demand and the recent Friends reunion making us super nostalgic, if you’re re-watching the show right now, you might remember the episode where Chandler proposes to Monica (or vice versa) with a particular one-of-a-kind engagement ring.  But did you know that Monica Geller’s particular engagement ring was in fact hand-chosen by the production team as a “TACORI” engagement ring?  Yes, it’s true! And because Friends help Friends find the perfect Friends [engagement ring](https://www.tacori.com/engagement-rings/), we’re here to revisit what made this Tacori engagement ring so special and perfect for Monica and Chandler.  Perhaps one of our most popular rings at the time, this stunning engagement ring exudes a delicately detailed [vintage](https://www.tacori.com/engagement-rings/vintage/) feel, perfect for even the most detail-obsessed brides (ahem, hello Monica).  Featuring a [three-stone style](https://www.tacori.com/engagement-rings/settings/three-stone/) that represents “past, present, future”, there’s a bold 1.5 carat princess cut in the center, hugged with special trillion-cut blue [sapphires](https://www.tacori.com/sapphire-engagement-rings-and-wedding-bands/) on either side. Made in [platinum](https://blog.tacori.com/perfectly-paired-in-platinum), this ring features a wheat patterned hand-engraving detail on the body of the ring which symbolizes abundance, life and fertility and also secret scrolling hearts underneath the crown of the ring for the most romantic gesture. The ring was coined the “Monica Geller Ring” or “The Friends Ring” when it became a trendsetter of the late 90s, and early 2000s. And to this day, TACORI still receives requests inquiring about the “Monica Ring,” as we rightfully should! After all, vintage never goes out of style and who can get enough of Friends?!
